The role: Senior Acquisition Manager – PokerStars Casino

We are looking for a Senior Acquisition Manager to join our Casino team in Dublin.

This role focuses on scaling the acquisition of casino first players across our key markets. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Acquisition, your role will focus on developing effective acquisition strategies based on the vertical’s commercial growth targets, sustainability, and thorough understanding of performance KPIs. The role requires excellent performance marketing knowledge and deep understanding of product functionalities and customer journeys/experiences. The senior acquisition manager will work closely with central marketing, Product, CRM, and Analytics teams to ensure optimal customer benefits and commercial results.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Why we need you

The right candidate needs to have at least 3 years’ experience in the gaming industry, working with acquisition/performance marketing. Experience with product is also desirable. You should enjoy working with budget; analysing data and be prepared to step into a busy and dynamic role. 1-2 years' experience in a people management role is also required.

You’ll need excellent analytical and communication skills (written and verbal with the ability to tailor the dialogue for a variety of audiences). You should also be able to take ownership of various projects and be comfortable working with a variety of internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities for the role include

  • Developing effective acquisition strategies for casino key markets, balancing out investment and channel mix strategies

  • Establishing weekly, monthly and yearly acquisition targets

  • KPI tracking and reporting ensuring that full overview is provided to commercial team (RMs, CPAs, ROIs, LTV, Fraud/abuse)

  • Building welcome offers/bonus strategy based on competitive analysis, customer insights and product functionalities aiming to deliver efficient Conversion rates

  • Overseeing the onboarding journeys (new customer acquisition journeys): mapping, testing and optimisations to deliver efficient conversions. Identify critical areas for improvement, mitigate drop of points, working closely to BI/Operations/Product/Payments/Offers/Perf. MKT teams.

  • Working closely with Performance Marketing Director to identify, develop and test new scalable channels aiming for incremental activations

  • Campaigns planning, monitoring and analysis: working closely with brand, commercial, media and performance marketing teams to ensure mid-lower funnel messages/channels/metrics are consistent. Monitor closely and optimise when required.

  • Managing Always on acquisition/performance campaigns

  • Budgetary planning, management, and reporting alongside the Head of Department

  • Collaborating with the Head of and CRM team with the objective of setting strategies that deliver on favourable players’ value and sustainable ROIs across casino key markets

  • Proximity to product: this role requires deep understanding of product functionalities, customer journeys/experiences. The senior acquisition manager will work closely with product and CRM managers to ensure optimal customer benefits and commercial results.
