The role:  FP&A Manager

We are looking for an FP&A Manager to join our Performance and Planning team in our Isle of Man office.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us aligned.

Why we need you:-

As FP&A Manager, you will join the wider Performance & Planning team and report to the Head of Finance – Performance & Planning. You will be responsible for the following in respect of the Flutter international division:

  • Assisting with the Budgeting, Forecasting and Long-term strategic planning process of a complex and dynamic £2bn+ business.

  • Responsible for providing insightful and forward-looking performance reporting packs.

  • Cultivate close working relationships with broader Finance team members across multiple countries within the International Division and Group Finance to remain up to date with current developments.

  • Responsible for consolidation & analysis of divisional cashflows, synergies, capex and other areas as required.

  • Drive consistency and timeliness in consolidated forecasting and planning cycles.

  • Drive efficiencies in processes, automating and innovating where possible.

  • Ability to engage in other ad-hoc projects / analysis as required from time to time.

Who are we looking for:-

  • Professional Qualification E.g. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent analytical and review skills.

  • Excellent Excel skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills and takes full ownership of tasks assigned while delivering to tight deadlines.

  • Logical and methodical and with ability and willingness to learn and progress.

  • Commercial mindset and adaptable to a global fast paced environment.

  • Passionate, proactive and takes pride in all deliverables assigned.

  • Results driven, must be able to work under pressure across a global organisation engaging with multiple stakeholders.

  • Inquisitive and naturally curious mind.

  • Managing ambiguity, able to work effectively in uncertain circumstances.

The ideal candidate will also have

  • Experience working with platforms such as MicroStrategy, Oracle, Hyperion, Workday, PRISM, JIRA, Looker, Power BI and other BI tools.
