Poker CRM Analytics Manager

The role:  We are recruiting for a Poker CRM Analytics Manager to join our Poker CRM Analytics team in the Isle of Man.

Why we need you:

Data analytics plays a key role in how we understand our players and make business decisions. Reporting into the Head of Poker Loyalty and Promotions Analytics (part of the wider Poker Performance & Analytics team), you will provide analysis and recommendations for Poker Promotions that improve player experience and help us meet business objectives.

No two days are going to be quite the same, one day you may be working on data driven recommendations for improvements to a particular promotion, the next day you’ll be creating a dashboard to allow a stakeholder to better monitor KPIs or presenting your key findings and recommendations from that analysis you’ve just completed on an A/B test. No matter what the day brings though, you’ll be encouraged and supported along the way by some of the best and most experienced people in the industry.

Key Responsibilities include:

The Poker CRM Analytics Manager will:

  • Work closely with Poker CRM stakeholders to understand and help them achieve their objectives through data driven analysis and recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide analysis covering all stages of the promotional lifecycle: from helping design a promotion, to monitoring it when it is live and then coming up with recommendations for how to improve it for the next run.

  • Manage both the prioritisation and workflow of analytics requests and their relationships with multiple Poker CRM stakeholders to make sure that work is being done in the areas where it can have the highest impact while ensuring that items are delivered against competing deadlines.

  • Use advanced analytical techniques to understand how players interact with promotions: for example, through analysing a A/B test to provide a ROI and identify different cohorts of players who responded differently and provide recommendations for future improvements.

  • Promote a data-driven approach when working with the Poker CRM team.

  • Use their initiative to proactively come up recommendations supported by data – and then be able to sell your ideas to Poker CRM stakeholders.

 Who we're looking for:

  • Degree in the quantitative areas (STEM) and a minimum of three years relevant work experience

  • You’re naturally inquisitive. It’s not enough for you to just see that a thing happened, you need to know the “why?” and the “so what?” of it too.

  • A passionate, results orientated, team player who can build and maintain strong relationships with Poker CRM stakeholders across all levels of seniority

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical stakeholders, both written and orally, and be able to turn complex concepts into impactful recommendations.

  • You can be given an outline of a task or project, take it on and make it your own, while working within potentially tight deadlines.

  • Proven modelling, analytical and numerical capabilities with good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy

  • Practical commercial experience using advanced data manipulation and analysis tools (SQL, KNIME, Python, R, etc.)

  • A willingness and desire to proactively learn new skills and techniques

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Experience with all stages of the A/B testing process, from test setup to post test analysis

  • Prior CRM Analytics experience

What’s   in it for you?

Our experience-based salaries are competitive.

Your package will include:

  • Discretionary annual performance bonus

  • 30 days paid leave

  • Health and dental insurance for you, your partner and your children (if you all live at the same address)

  • Looking to extend your family? You will receive a cash gift of £1,000 for your new addition whilst working for us

  • Discounted gym membership

  • Free fresh fruit, snacks and drinks in the office

  • A subsidised canteen which offers hot and cold options for breakfast and lunch
