The Role: VIP Host Associate at PokerStars USA
PokerStars USA is looking for a VIP Host Associate to join our US Gaming Team to assist and support our most valuable customers, reporting to the US VIP Manager.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission aligned. We are looking for a candidate located in the Greater Philadelphia region, so they can commute to the office when needed at Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

As a VIP Host, you are personally interested in poker and casino games, and will help support a portfolio of high-net-worth customers who share your excitement. After initial interaction with these customers, you will build strong relationships to increase their loyalty and provide an excellent all-around experience. This position will be in a customer facing environment that requires a good understanding of elite VIP service and a genuine passion for the online gambling industry, and prides themselves in being detailed, reliable, and consistent.

Support a portfolio of High Value Players

Fulfill weekly comp and bonus initiatives for players

Provide an enhanced proactive one stop service to encourage loyalty

Develop relationships and offer tailored rewards through regular correspondence

On-board new VIP players into the ecosystem and educate them on the benefits within our VIP program

Work alongside our Product, Operations, Marketing, CRM, and Live Events teams to enhance player experience.

Meet pre-determined productivity, quality, and service level agreement targets

Meet and host VIP customers in-person at hospitality events as needed both locally and via occasional regional travel
Who We’re Looking For
Your experience
-
Minimum of 2+ years of high-end, customer service experience in either casino gaming, iGaming, or a luxury retail environment

Demonstrated examples of elite verbal and written communication skills
-
Evidence of exceptional organizational skills, trustworthiness, and consistent output
-
Basic understanding of MS Excel and an ability to leverage our analytical tools to grow customer engagement
Preferred skills
-
Direct prior experience as a casino host for either an online operator or at a land-based casino
-
Understanding of key casino game rules, poker game rules, and VIP metrics terminology, and an ability to have “casino fluent” conversations with our customers about their activity

A genuine and personal interest in playing poker, online casino gaming, or sports betting
-
Self-starter able to set and meet their goals regularly with minimal supervision

Willing and able to work non-traditional business hours during special events or business critical circumstances
