We are looking for a Gaming Analyst to join our growing Betfair International team in Malta.

The Gaming Analyst will play a key role in understanding our customers and performance drivers. The analytics department brings data to life – partnering with stakeholders to add insight and analysis to key decision-making processes. Our international gaming business has grown significantly over the past year and you would be a contributor to our continued growth.
Why we need you:
Reporting into the Gaming Analytics manager, the Gaming Analyst will delve into performance tracking and customer analytics to fully understand the key drivers of our business. They will be tasked with analysing and identifying new opportunities and efficiencies for the international business, helping to inform commercial decision-making.
Key responsibilities:

Evaluate and report on the drivers of all international gaming revenue streams

Use data and logic to understand customer behaviours and performance drivers to develop actionable insights

Be comfortable collating data and insights from multiple sources to reach the most accurate conclusions

Presenting your findings to key commercial stakeholders in a clear/concise manner
-
Encourage a data led approach to the decision-making process within the International team
-
Work closely with the commercial team to understand what impact initiatives have on performance and how we can initiate the next best action
Who we’re looking for:

A third level degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics etc)

A strong analytical background; high numerical aptitude is required
-
Strong SQL with a solid understanding of data and analytical technical infrastructure

1+ years commercial experience in a customer focussed analytical, statistical or quantitative role driving business decisions

Experience using Looker or other relevant BI tools an advantage (desired not required)

Knowledge of /keen interest in online gaming (from Slots/Live Casino to Poker) (desired not required)
