The role:

 
We are looking for a Senior SEiT (Software Engineer in Test) to join our International Sportsbook team in Leeds.

You will help test and develop one of the biggest sports betting platforms in the world.

We are expanding our tech team to support the adoption and development of our new sports betting platform within the Flutter International division. 

As a Senior SEiT you will join one of our small agile frontend teams, consisting of SEiT, DevOps Engineers and Software Engineers. 

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is crucial for keeping us mission-aligned. 


Why we need you


You’ll be working closely with the engineers in the team designing, building and maintaining our ground breaking sportsbook platform, using industry leading technologies. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Automation first approach to testing

  • Quality champion within your squad

  • Continuously improve testing through participation in the Test Community of Practice

  • Ensuring security and regulatory responsibilities are adhered to

  • Test monitoring, maintenance and contributing to improve the test framework

In addition to these responsibilities, as a senior you will be expected to:

  • Help prioritise work based on business goals

  • Lead on workstreams within the squad

  • Mentor other team members

  • Contributor within the wider Test Community of Practice

  • Use knowledge and experience to drive implementation of the Test Strategy


Who we're looking for:


We’re looking for an experienced, pragmatic and collaborative Senior SEiT to join our team on the mission to build the best online sports betting product in the world.


Your experience:

  • Comprehensive test analysis skills

  • In-depth experience of developing and maintaining automated tests

  • Agile ways of working


Your behaviours:

  • Pragmatic with a strong understanding of effort versus business value

  • Collaborative teammate

  • Problem solver with a drive to understand what’s under the hood


Key technologies:

  • Testing – BDD / Webdriver.io / Browserstack / Cypress / Jira / Xray

  • Core Tech – ReactJS / TypeScript

  • CI/CD – Jenkins

  • Infrastructure – AWS

  • Application Monitoring – Grafana Loki / Alert Manager / Prometheus
