The role: Product Analyst
We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our Betfair International team (part of Flutter International) in our London office.
Internally, the role location is flexible as our teams work in Leeds, Cluj, Porto, Dublin and London.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. The expectation is that you work from the office up to 1-2 times a week or more if you like our amazing new offices. We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission aligned. If you are happy to travel, there will be opportunities to visit colleagues in other offices in the future if desired.

This is a role with a wide remit to get stuck into including, but not limited to Sports, the Exchange & Gaming for predominantly Brazil, Spain and Italy, but also other countries. You’ll be part of a team responsible for delivering insight and analysis to drive development of our exciting products for millions of customers.

Why we need you:
You’ll lead on all things product analytics:

Support product launches; report on results, recommend future iterations and help analyse customer behaviour

Advise on tagging and experiment set-up, e.g. improvements to promotion journeys

Utilise web analytics data to identify customer challenges, drop off areas, review and suggest areas for improvement to our key customer journeys

Work with your UKI counterparts to analyse how UKI changes have landed in our key international jurisdictions (we share a platform)

Input into changes to the analytics set-up; e.g. GA4 migration

Educate the product team; you’ll be the expert, but teach them to self-serve wherever possible

Help establish ways of working; this is a new role in a growing team
This is a role with great exposure to senior stakeholders and an opportunity to learn from Betfair International and UKI teams. You’ll play a key part, acting as a bridge between both teams to share knowledge, best practices and to collaborate on consistent Betfair experiences
You’ll report into the Sports Analytics Manager but work closely with the Head of Product & Head of Analytics as we set-up product analytics support for International
What we’re looking for, and what you’ll learn

An individual with a strong analytical background, high numerical aptitude with a passion for data analysis, experienced using data to present a story to non-experts

1+ years working experience in SQL required

Experience in using Looker or similar BI and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) is desirable

Experience in analysing Google Analytics data (using the GA client or within SQL) is desirable but not essential
-
Experience in Google Tag Manager for tag auditing is desirable but not essential
-
Experience in tools such as Hotjar, Quantum Metric or Clarity is desirable but not essential
-
Knowledge of or a keen interest in online sports betting is desirable but not essential
