Overview of the role:

We have an exciting new role in our Data & Analytics Team for a Senior Manager, Data & Analytics Product. You’ll be joining us at an exciting time as we look to build our next generation Data, Reporting & AI platforms in AWS to accelerate our vision to be the home of Poker.

You will be accountable for an area of our Data Product strategy, working closely with stakeholders and data colleagues to deliver critical business outcomes. Initially, you will focus on our Reporting Ecosystem – how we make data ready for enterprise-wide insight and action. In addition, you will also be responsible for people management, and driving Data Product’s people agenda in Sofia.

You’ll be reporting into the Director of Data Product in a team who all share a passion for our products and understanding of our customers behaviour.

What you’ll do:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy and goals for our data products ensuring clear lineage to tribe and company mission

  • Define and drive OKRs for data products aligned to the organisation’s Data Strategy

  • Be an active member of the Data Product leadership team, helping to establish efficient processes re. prioritisation, communication, engagement, and product delivery

  • Spearhead key transformation initiatives in our Reporting Ecosystem domain helping us to migrate away from a legacy tech stack to a cloud-native Data Platform

Data Product Development

  • Lead the ideation, discovery, development and launch of data products ensuring they meet stakeholder needs and drive business value

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success and impact of data products

  • Manage and prioritise roadmaps for the data products under the Reporting Ecosystem initially collaborating with other senior data colleagues – equally comfortable with technology and product to drive the right decisions

Staksholder Management

  • Engage with and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels ranging from senior leadership to data engineers and analysts and wider business stakeholders

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage stakeholders at all levels – be it individual team member or C-suite stakeholders

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team consisting of Product Managers, Product Owners and Business Analysts, to realise our ambitions

  • Act as the Data Product leadership team representative within the Sofia office and support the wellbeing and performance of Data Product colleagues

What you’ll bring:

  • You will have significant experience in a Senior Product role for several years, with clear strategy ownership and people management experience

  • You have experience working with and delivering Data Products, at scale. Ideally, this will include working on Data Warehousing, Data Lakehouse, Enterprise BI technologies

  • You have experience managing a large network of senior stakeholders – it is crucial you’re able to positively influence the inception, delivery, use and growth of Data Products, to meet key business goals

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • You have experience working in an agile organisation, and championing agile practices. You can drive continuous improvement, and level up our agile maturity.

  • You have a delivery mindset, and a laser focus on landing results juggling multiple programmes & initiatives in a complex organisation

  • You keep up to date on the latest trends in the data industry, and seek opportunities to leverage the latest innovations to maximise positive impact

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and stakeholders

  • An inspiring leader setting standards and encouraging new ways of doing things with the ability to mentor, develop and lead teams towards meeting business objectives as well as personal growth
