Overview of the role:
We are looking for a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria.
As part of the Sportsbook Product Design team, you'll help build intuitive and engaging user experience for our Sportsbook platform. You’ll play a key role in shaping how users interact with our product including designing user journeys, crafting user flow prototypes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless betting experience.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
What you’ll do:

Create user-centered designs by understanding business goals, user needs, and feedback across a variety of personas, including novice and expert bettors.

Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes that deliver intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of interaction design and micro interactions that elevate the overall user experience and reinforce system feedback.

Identify and resolve UX challenges using heuristic evaluation, usability testing, and user behavior data.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business strategy and technical constraints.

Lead and contribute to the development, documentation, and scalability of the design system across platforms.

Proactively identify UX opportunities and initiate design improvements that drive product value and usability.

Advocate for UX best practices and contribute to a culture of design excellence and user-centric thinking across the organization.

Incorporate insights from user research, stakeholder feedback, and usability studies into iterative design enhancements.

Organize and maintain UX documentation, including user flows, site maps, wireframes, interaction specs, and prototypes.

Work in agile product teams to deliver design solutions in a fast-paced, regulated, and competitive industry.

Stay current on UX trends, sports betting UX patterns, and compliance requirements.
What you’ll bring:

5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design

Experience designing for sports betting, gaming, fintech, or other real-time data platforms.

Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.

Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Proven track record of leading design projects from concept to execution.

Expert in Figma and prototyping tools, with a strong understanding of user testing methods.
