Role Overview
As Head of performance / digital media for SEU, you will be the senior authority on how PokerStars plans and deploys its digital media investment across Spain, France and Portugal. You will lead a specialist in-house team covering Paid Social, PPC, SEO and Affiliates. Youu will be the primary point of accountability for digital media outcomes across the region.
You will providing senior oversight, detailed support and direction for the in-house performance marketing team implementing paid digital channels. You will be expected to bring genuine depth and knowledge across these channels.
The ideal candidate will have an authority eye for everything reporting and measurement with explicit knowledge of tracking performance and an ability to demonstrate the development of test and learn plans.
Three distinct regulatory environments, three distinct media landscapes, and a budget that demands rigorous stewardship and creative ambition simultaneously. This role is for someone who thrives in that complexity.
What you’ll do:

Handle and lead the SEU Digital performance team

Form part of the SEU Marketing Leadership team, working with and supporting fellow Heads of department

Support the SEU Marketing Director to develop strong relationships with key digital media partners

Deliver strong, innovative and measurable digital media roadmaps

Work closely with the Marketing Insights team to improve the signalling /Ad tech capabilities and measurement granularity

Ensure aligned execution across all media channels

Ensure plans are driven based on given guardrails and targets are met (CPAs/Paybacks) with the support of the Marketing Insight team

Identify new digital media test & learn opportunities & ensure they are planned and delivered authoritatively.

Work with CRO specialist to track and optimise Conversion rate performance and onboarding journeys

Work with the Analytics team to produce optimal reports, data driven, and establish measurement frameworks against our objectives.

Provide executive reports on Media Marketing activities and Media critical metrics with support from Analytics team, find optimisation opportunities, and drive actions.
What you’ll bring:

8-10+ years of digital media planning and strategy experience, with at least 3-4 years in a senior leadership role handling multi- digital channel media programmes at significant scale

Demonstrable experience handling multi-million euro media budgets across digital performance channels simultaneously

Background in iGaming, sports betting or another heavily regulated consumer industry is preferred; experience navigating the specific gambling advertising frameworks in Spain, France or Portugal is a meaningful advantage

Consistent track record of leading JBP negotiations and commercial relationships with major media platforms (Google, Meta and equivalents) at a senior level

Experience handling and developing high-performing specialist media teams

Interest in, or knowledge of, online poker, casino, and sportsbook
