As our DEI strategy touches every aspect of our business, it’s really important we all sign up to take action and ‘walk the talk’. This starts with leadership, and our Executive Committee have made the following commitments:
We pledge to ensure there is an unambiguous commitment and strategy to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in each of our Divisions with concrete actions. The strategy will be visible and accessible to every employee across our divisions and brands. We’ll share our successes as well as our failures.
We commit to driving accountability throughout our organisations for the delivery of our DEI Strategies. DEI isn’t the job of one person, we all have an accountability to make this part of what we do.
We pledge to embed inclusivity and equity deep into our culture, so that everyone has a fair opportunity in recruitment, promotion and progression.
We commit to call out inappropriate behaviour or discrimination, even when it is uncomfortable to do so. We will not be bystanders. We expect the same behaviours from those we work with and will take action to address anything falling below our expectations.
We will continue to make our workplaces trusting places to have complex, and sometimes difficult, conversations about diversity and inclusion by creating platforms, forums and safe spaces for people to share their experiences at work with us.
We know that DEI is not about a short-term fix or a one-off activity, but our starting point is about creating a call to action to drive accountability across Flutter and build a sustained approach that helps DEI become a part of everything we do. We want to create an environment where everyone feels safe to be different, to be themselves and to share their ideas – and most importantly, for everyone to feel that they belong – because for diversity to thrive, you also need to have equity and inclusion.
