Job Overview
As our SDE II/III - DevOps, you will bring solid experience in both development and operations, with a passion for automating and streamlining processes. You will thrive on challenges and constantly strive for excellence in creating reliable and efficient systems. Working directly with our DevOps Managers, you will ensure seamless and scalable game experiences for millions of players.
Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain our robust, multi-account AWS infrastructure, ensuring strict adherence to least-privilege principles and established policies like Service Control Policies (SCPs) and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Design, maintain, and operate our continuous delivery ecosystem, including Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Git, to drive secure, auditable GitOps-based deployments to Kubernetes and AWS environments.

Develop reusable and robust automation scripts using Python to automate routine tasks, system updates, and infrastructure provisioning.

Implement, maintain, and contribute to the design of a unified observability platform leveraging OpenTelemetry (OTEL) for collecting and correlating metrics, logs, and traces to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.

Ensure adherence to and execution of the Infra SDLC and GitOps process, integrating security controls like code scanning (e.g., Checkov) and vulnerability assessments (Trivy, image scanning) for all Terraform and Kubernetes changes to maintain a compliant and drift-free environment.

Implement and maintain operational and security maturity features, including robust authentication and access control (SSO/RBAC, JiT/JEA) and end-to-end data encryption (e.g., utilizing AWS KMS), maintaining comprehensive documentation and runbooks.

Participate in On-Call rotations and ensure quick turnaround on critical production issues by effectively troubleshooting and debugging system problems.

Manage and maintain various databases, including Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.

Collaborate proactively with inter- and intra-team members (Development, QA, Operations), communicating blockers and driving seamless integration and delivery.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members .
Preferred Qualifications:
-
4 - 6 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar, with a primary focus on AWS and cloud infrastructure security, with mandatory, hands-on expertise: AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and Git.

Proven experience designing and implementing distributed tracing and centralised metrics collection using OpenTelemetry (OTEL).

Strong proficiency in Python for automation and infrastructure scripting, along with experience in Go or Bash.

Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on debugging complex production issues.

Proficiency in AWS-specific tools: AWS CLI, IAM, BOTO3, CloudFormation, ECR, and EKS.

Solid understanding of security governance: participating in the implementation of policies (e.g., SCPs), managing security within multi-account structures, and contributing to post-incident review processes.

Experience with infrastructure security tooling, including secure IaC scanning (Checkov/Firefly), image scanning (Trivy).

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

AWS & Kubernetes certifications (e.g., AWS CSA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, CKAD etc).
