Overview of the Role
We are looking for a Commercial Executive to join our Betfair Spain Sports team.
As Commercial Executive, you will be the guardian of the onsite customer experience for Betfair Spain, owning the planning, localisation and delivery of content, addressing crucial customer trends and testing initiatives that drive meaningful engagement and retention. You will sit at the intersection of Commercial, Product, Trading, Brand, Customer Support and Content, making sure the Spanish market receives a best-in-class localised experience at every touchpoint.
This role requires someone who can build a content plan from the ground up, combining local market knowledge and data to make smart decisions, while maintaining the attention to detail that translation review and customer-facing quality demand. You will be the key operational link between the Country Head and a wide range of internal stakeholders, and your work will have a direct and visible impact on the Spanish business.
What you'll do

Own the onsite planning and execution as the primary point of contact for the Content team, ensuring timely delivery aligned to the commercial calendar and major sporting events

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align onsite content with market availability and product changes

Act as the key point of contact for Analytics and Content in the design and execution of onsite tests, using results and data to drive decisions

Take full ownership of QA processes onsite, reviewing translations, conducting daily reviews of user journeys and keeping track of the process.

Conduct recurring industry benchmarking to maintain quality and localisation standards in line with market developments

Champion the customer perspective in every decision, drawing on input from Customer Support and Insights to ensure everything is seen through the lens of the Spanish customer

Present and contribute to meetings with international stakeholders across commercial and product initiatives and planning cycles.

Support the Country Head across commercial and regulatory tasks as they evolve, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the changing Spanish regulatory framework
What you'll bring:

Previous work experience in; an online company, a large multinational company, B2C company and/or a tech company

Experience in Spanish gambling market preferred but is not required.

Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, both written and spoken with a sharp eye for detail in customer-facing copy.

Effective presentation skills, able to communicate findings and proposals clearly to stakeholders at different levels

Solid understanding of the Spanish market and sports landscape, with a genuine interest in staying current with local news and trends

Knowledge of the Spanish gambling regulatory framework, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire it

Confident working with data to support decision-making; comfortable using dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
